Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn and undamaged, with any tags still attached and in its original shoebox. You will also need your order number or proof of purchase.

Because footwear marks easily, please try your boots on indoors on a carpeted surface and avoid wearing them outside until you are sure you are keeping them. Boots showing sole wear or outdoor use cannot be accepted, and we may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to check fit and appearance.

To start a return, contact us at info@ondalear.com with your order number and the item you wish to send back.

If your return is accepted, we will confirm our warehouse address and send you instructions on how to send your package. Items posted back to us without first requesting a return cannot be matched to your order and will not be accepted.

For change-of-mind returns, the cost of return postage is yours to cover, and we recommend using a tracked service as the parcel remains your responsibility until it reaches us. Where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we cover the return cost in full.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have a short-term right to reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that period you remain entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a refund if neither is possible.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain items cannot be returned. These include boots that have been worn outdoors or show sole wear, items returned without their original shoebox, items returned more than 30 days after delivery, and gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. This secures the size or colour you want immediately rather than holding it while your return is in transit.

United Kingdom 14 day cancellation period

Notwithstanding the above, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without giving a justification. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us.

To cancel, simply email us at info@ondalear.com with your order number and tell us clearly that you are cancelling. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn and undamaged, with any tags attached and in its original shoebox. You will also need your order number or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods back, and usually much sooner. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

As delivery is free on every order, there is no outbound postage to refund.

If more than 14 business days have passed since we approved your return and nothing has arrived, please contact us at info@ondalear.com and we will chase it for you.
